30 Lips in 30 Days - Natural Collection Moisture Shine Lipstick

So this is it, day 30 of the 30 lips challenge. Today we've got a super affordable option of the Natural Collection Moisture Shine Lipstick. I have heard a few good things about the line so I wanted to see if these were any good because, at £1.99 a piece, these could be a really nice addition to your collection. The shade selection is wide but there's nothing too out there in the collection, lots of neutral shades along with some berries and reds, I have shade "Raspberry" and it's a your-lips-but-better type medium pink.

The packaging seems to be where they've saved money because I must admit it's really cheap looking and a bit flimsy. That being said, the formula on these is actually really nice, they're opaque without being too thick and very very creamy so they're very comfortable on the lips. The one thing about the formula is that, because it's so creamy, the lasting time isn't great and these will need to be maintained through the day.

30 Lips in 30 Days - Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick

I feel like the Revlon super Lustrous Lipstick in "Cherries In The Snow" has become almost a classic shade. I remember EssieButton talking about it way back in the day of beauty vloggers and when I saw it on the shelves of my local Boots the other day I couldn't help but pick it up. The packaging is pretty old school with the classic glossy black tube and the gold detailing, the top of the lid is also clear so you can see the colour through the top so you can see which colour it is if you have a few from the line.

As for the formula, it's really rich and creamy so it's super comfortable on the lips and the colour payoff is great. It's thin in texture so it doesn't feel like it's weighing your lips down throughout the wear time but the colour is still nice and intense on the lips. The one thing I would say is that due to the high moisture content, this lipstick doesn't set on the lips and will move around if you aren't careful, it will leave a mark on cups and if you catch your lips with anything you can easily drag the colour out of your lip line.

30 Lips in 30 Days - Collection Cream Puff Moisturising Lip Cream

So we're back with another lip cream and today we have the Collection Cream Puff Moisturising Lip Cream. I picked this up mainly because they look identical to the NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams and I thought it would be nice to compare the two, especially with the collection ones being a bit cheaper. When first applied the Collection one feels very much like the NYX, both are smooth and creamy in texture and there's quite a bit of moisture in both formulas. The name "moisturising lip cream" is, in my opinion, at least a little bit misleading as both the Collection and the NYX formulas dry down to a powdery matte finish and leave little to no creaminess on the lips. On a blind swatch test I'd assume they were simply different shades of the same product.

It's also hard not to draw on the similarities in the packaging. Both products come in a tube that reflects the colour of the product with a matte black lid and black detailing on the tube and have the same doe-foot applicator. I'd actually say the scent on the two is identical, a light vanilla type scent. The main difference is that the Soft Matte Lip Creams retail at £5.50 and has wide shade selection, where the Cream Puff Moisturising Lip Cream is slightly lower in price at £2.99 a piece and only comes in 3 colours.

30 Lips in 30 Days - NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream

As promised, another pick from the NYX Cosmetics line, today we have their Soft Matte Lip Cream in the shade "08 - San Paulo". Again, like their Butter Gloss the colour of the packaging reflects the colour of the product and the detailing on the packaging is matte black, the NYX packaging is almost Nars'esque in it's sleekness. "San Paulo" is a mid-tone matte pink that lies somewhere between a red-pink and a fuchsia shade.

The Soft Matte Lip Creams are smooth and creamy to apply and go on with a slight hint of glossiness and then dry down to a matte finish. They do take a little while to set and so can be smudged within a few minutes of application and even once they've set, moisture will make them fade quicker so if you're drinking or anything like that this will need to be retouched through the day.

30 Lips in 30 Days - Clarins Instant Light Lip Comfort Oil

When the Clarins Instant Light Lip Comfort Oils first launched, I was so excited to get my hands on one, but no matter how hard I looked, I just couldn't find the shade I wanted. These were released with two colours, a warm yellow "01 Honey" and a pinky shade "02 Raspberry" and the latter was near impossible to find in stores when they first released. After a while of searching I gave up and forgot all about them until the other day, when I found "02 Raspberry" at my local Clarins counter.

The packaging for these is lovely, a thick clear plastic tube with a gold lid and a large doe-foot applicator that fits the lips well. My only packaging complaint is that with the applicator being quite large, it can pick up way more product than you need. The product has a sweet raspberry scent that you will be able to taste when your wear the product so if you're not into scented lip products that's something to bear in mind. The formula itself is very much like a thick, non-sticky lip gloss, sheer and shiny, moisturising and comfortable on the lips and will need reapplying throughout the day the maintain the finish.

30 Lips in 30 Days - Soap & Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Lip Lacquer

Having been a fan of the Soap & Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Sticks for a while I wanted to give the lip lacquers a go to see how thy compared. The packaging is nice and simple with the black accents on the clear packaging and the doe foot applicator is nice and a good size for application.

The formula is a little thick on the lips but they are smooth rather than sticky. As the product has a slight thickness to it the shades are quite opaque and they last relatively well on the lips for a lip product with a glossy finish. I have the shade "Charm Offensive" and it's a medium nude with a slight hint of a rosiness to it which makes it a bit more wearable than the really brown-toned nudes out there. They have a light vanilla scent to them which I like but this doesn't linger too long on the lips after application if you're not a big fan of scented lip products.

30 Lips in 30 Days - Nars Velvet Lip Pencil Cruella

So it's no secret that I'm a fan of the Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencils, and so I just had to include one in this challenge. I like that the packaging is very Nars'esque with the matte black and white writing and I like the band around the bottom of the product to tell you the colour. I also like that the packaging for these is subtly different from the Satin Lip Pencils which are their more glossy finish which have two bands of colour around the bottom rather than one, so you can tell the finish as well as the shade if you have a collection of them. They're not a twist-up but again this is something I like as it means the tip is always sharp and you can get a good lip line without the need for a liner.

"Cruella" isn't a new shade by any means but it's a great pick for the holiday season, a slightly darker red that, for me, is a bit more wearable than the brighter reds that you often see around this time of year. The formula is a true matte finish and, while they don't drag at all during application, they feel almost like a powder on the lips. The only thing about these is that there's not a drop of moisture in them so I can see some people finding them a little uncomfortable, but if you want a matte lip that is super long-wearing, then I'd give these a go.

30 Lips in 30 Days - NYX Butter Gloss

When I heard that NYX Cosmetics was hitting Boots I was jump-up-and-down type excited. I'v heard so much in the blog-o-sphere about NYX but they were near impossible to find in-store in the UK and even places that shipped online weren't great for us. I just picked up a couple of bits to begin with and the Butter Gloss in "Tiramisu" made the first cut. The packaging is nice with the very well colour co-ordinated lid for each shade and the clear plastic tube so you can see the colour of the product and the doe-foot applicator is nice and small so it's easy to apply.

The formula feels a lot like a liquid lip balm, thin and moisturising and really comfortable, my lips actually still feel hydrated after the product wears off which I love. Despite the product being so thin in texture the pigmentation is nice, these are still a lipgloss so they aren't going to be completely opaque but there is a nice amount of colour on the lips and you will be able to see a difference in each shade. I have heard that these glosses can sometimes be a bit streaky but "Tiramisu" doesn't seem to be for me. Very excited to see more from the brand after trying this product. Anyone with recommendations/requests for reviews from NYX let me know in comments!

30 Lips in 30 Days - NUDEstix Lip Pen

NUDEstix isn't a brand I here a lot about in the blog-o-sphere but I mentioned one of their lip and cheek pencils in a blog post I wrote a while back (clicky link here) and I figured I'd try some more things from them. The packaging for their Lip Pens is a sleek black tube with a click-y brush applicator, similar to the Stila Lip Glaze packaging. I like this applicator as it means you don't need a separate lip brush but do bear in mind that it's very easy to click out too much product.

The actual lip gloss formula is a bit thick and sticky and it has that menthol scent to it that a lip-plumping product would have, although for me it doesn't offer any lip-plumping effects. The shade "Buff" is a light nude with a glossy sheerness to it that makes it wearable but it's not a shade I see myself reaching for so often just due to how pale I am. I can see it working nicely as a centre of the lip highlight product. I'd love to try some other shades as it lasts quite well due to the thickness.

30 Lips in 30 Days - Mirenesse Mattfinity Lip Rouge

Mirenesse isn't a brand I've heard an awful lot about but I've seen them on Birchbox recently and their Mattfinity Lip Rouges looked interesting so I decided I'd try one out. This is only a mini but the packaging is sturdy and looks nice as well. The main part of the packaging is clear plastic so you can see the colour of the product and then the lid is black with the shade name in big silver letters.

The shade I picked up was "Sydney" and it's a bright fuchsia pink. In the picture above I'd only just applied the product and you can see they are quite glossy when you first apply them, but within a few minutes they dry down to a velvet matte finish which isn't as drying as some other formulas I've tried. The product also has a sweet scent which I find pleasant.

30 Lips in 30 Days - Eyes Lips Face Mineral Lipstick

So I think by now most people that are into beauty have heard of Elf (or Eyes Lips Face) Cosmetics and know that they're an affordable US brand that have been delivering internationally for a good few years now. I think Elf has some really great products and the Mineral Lipsticks are a good pick if you haven't tried much from them before. They've got a good bit of moisture to them so they're super comfortable on the lips and the staying power is pretty good too.

The shade I have is "6710 Cheerful Cherry" and it's a lovely, slightly deeper red. I'd recommend blotting down a bit with this particular shade just because the deep colour will make it obvious should you accidentally catch your lip and drag the colour outside the lip line but it doesn't seem to feather from what I've seen. There's a decent colour range in this formula and the packaging is quite sleek looking with the matte black tube.

30 Lips in 30 Days - KIKO Intensely Lavish Lipstick

I'll say this from the off - if you're looking for an absolute bargain of a lip product, you need look no further than the KIKO Intensely Lavish Lipstick range. These are unbelievable, especially for the price (£6-£7). These lipsticks are packaged in a weighty, rose gold effect lipstick tube with a magnetic close and they look and feel like a high-end product.

I have the shade "05" which is a mid-tone pink-y berry shade and if I did have one complaint about this lipstick is would be that the colours are just numbered rather than named but it's a small detail. The formula is a creamy satin finish that's comfortable and the product stays for a long time and doesn't leave you with any weird lip-liner looks. All round a great product and I'm already looking into getting more shades from the range.

30 Lips in 30 Days - Rimmel The Only One Lipstick

So today marks the day of this challenge where we revisit a formula we've seen earlier on. When I did my post about the Rimmel The Only One Lipstick in "700 - Naughty Nude", I couldn't help but feel that the formula was too creamy for the darker shades to work well and I just had to have a look into it - that and the fact that some of those darker shades were so unusual and amazing that I simply couldn't help myself.

The shade I'm wearing in today's picture is "810 - One of a Kind" and it's a deep burgundy/browny-red type shade that's great for autumn. Personally I'm looking for a corresponding lip liner to go with this shade because it does move around a little on the lips if you're not careful and with a shade this dark things can end up looking like a hot mess pretty quickly.

Tuesday 17 November 2015

30 Lips in 30 Days - Maybelline Matte Lipstick

Oh I do love a red lipstick. A bold red lip and a nice rosy cheek coupled with the (obviously fake) red hair is my go-to holiday-season look, that and some glitter, there's always room for glitter at Christmas time. So today I have a new pick from Maybelline and I just knew it would have to be a red. This is one of their Colour Sensational Matte Lipsticks in "965 - Siren in Scarlet" and its a bright, true red. The formula is a comfortable matte that won't drag on the lips during application and it's lightly scented with a sweet almost nutty(?) scent that wont linger on the lips.

The packaging isn't my favourite, the base is a bit short which can make it a tiny bit fiddle-y to open and the frosted black plastic lid does nothing for me aesthetically and is a bit flimsy. The lid on mine has actually already split and so it's probably not the best for throwing in your handbag/travel bag.

Monday 16 November 2015

30 Lips in 30 Days - Laqa&Co Cheeky Lip

Day 16 brings us a Laqa&Co Cheeky Lip which I received in a Birchbox and shelved pretty much instantly as the colour didn't seem to be something I'd wear. The packaging is very typical high-street-lip-crayon with a plastic tube that reflects the colour of the product and a twist-up function to get more product from the pencil. I'm not sure whether I have a full size or a mini (hopefully this is a mini) because despite the packaging being quite bulky, there is only about 1-1.5cm of product in the tube if you twist it all the way up.

As for the colour and formula, I have the shade "Cray-Cray" which is a pastel orangey shade which would probably be nice for spring. It goes on to the lips quite creamy in texture despite it being matte in finish but it does apply quite patchy and takes a little bit of work to make it properly opaque on the lips. The wear time is decent but this is another one of those lip products that loses it's moisture throughout the day and will gradually become quite drying on the lips if worn all day.

Sunday 15 November 2015

30 Lips in 30 Days - Benefit Benebalm

So a bit of a weekend face here and I think the Benefit Benebalm is a nice pick for a weekend because it's very much that sheer, sheeny, low-maintenance look that people seem to want for a weekend. It's a light, moisturising formula that chapped lips will probably appreciate and it doesn't seem to cling to the lips at all. This will need to be reapplied if you want to maintain the colour/texture on the lips but wont leave any kind of lip line at all as it fades. It also has that typical benetint rose sent to it which I personally really enjoy.

The packaging is nice but for the price I was expecting the tube to be weighter and more substantial. I do think that as much as the product is a nice formula, there's plenty of products on the market that are comparable and for me it just doesn't stand out enough for a higher-end lipbalm. I'd say the Maybelline Baby Lips in "Cherry" is very similar.

30 Lips in 30 Days - Revlon Colourstay Ultimate Suede

Yet another red lip pick today ('tis the season and all) and we're looking at the Revlon Colourstay Ultimate Suede Lipsticks today. The packaging on these is interesting, we all know by now that I like it when the packaging reflects the colour of the product but the obvious plastic look isn't for me. It is really sturdy though so I can't see the lid falling off in your bag or the packaging in any way breaking on you, just not the most aesthetically pleasing offering.

The formula is quite strange as well, even though it's a lipstick not a gloss there is a great deal of tackiness left on the lips after application and your lips will almost adhere to each other if you press them together which is odd. The shade I have is "095 - Finale" and it's a little more sheer than I was expecting but the finish is exactly what I'd expect from a "suede" lipstick - neither matte nor shiny, it's almost a satin but maybe a touch more sheeny. It's not my favourite lip product by any means but it's not the worst one I've tried so far.

30 Lips in 30 Days - Fleur De Force Lipgloss

So while you read this I'm possibly landing in Amsterdam (yes I know, very wise to fly on Friday the 13th) and today we have a Fleur De Force Lip Gloss to look at for the 30 lips challenge. I already have another two shades of these and they were lovely so I decided to pick up the red from the range as well. The packaging for these is super cute with the colour of the min tube reflecting the colour of the product so it's easy to find the shade you want if you have a few colour from the collection. I also really like the dark metallic accents.

"Lucky Star" is much like the other two shades I have, quite thick in texture so the colour is opaque and, while they aren't super sticky, they will hang around for a while on the lips. This shade is a true red that, with it being a lipgloss, will require maintenance throughout the day but it has a nice glossy shine and is comfortable to wear. The soft vanilla scent is also a nice touch.

30 Lips in 30 Days - Rimmel Lasting Finish By Kate Moss

Day 12 of the 30 lips challenge and I have a confession to make. I'm going to be cheating on this challenge slightly. As you're reading this I'm packing my bag for a birthday trip to Amsterdam and so I've taken a few photos a pre-written a few posts as I don't know what the internet will be like in Amsterdam and I didn't want to miss any posts.

But anyway, Today we have a beauty blogger favourite product: The Rimmel Lasting Finish By Kate Moss Lipstick in "107". It's a beautiful deep red that's super festive but it's maybe a bit more wearable than one of the true reds that become very popular during this time of year. It's a matte finish so it lasts really well and it's comfortable too. A must have in most collections I'd say.

Wednesday 11 November 2015

30 Lips in 30 Days - Maxfactor Lipfinity

Day 11 of the 30 lips challenge brings us the MaxFactor Lipfinity Lipstick. The packaging on this might not be quite what you'd expect, the gold lipstick tube looks lovely and weighty but is actually really light and the clear plastic lid makes it looks a bit cheap and at £8.99, while it might not be breaking the bank, it certainly doesn't measure up to other products I've mentioned this month like the No7 Moisture Drench which for on £1 more feels almost high end or even the L'Oreal Infallible Mega Gloss which for £1 less is much nicer.

Packaging aside, the formula is actually really nice, the product has a lovely sweet scent which I enjoy and the formula is light on the lips whilst still being full colour. There's a good moisuture content in the product and it manages not to be too sheer or too shiny which I like and the colour range is nice. I picked up the shade "60 Evermore Lush" which is a nice deep neutral/berry shade which is perfect for autumn.

Tuesday 10 November 2015

30 Lips in 30 Days - L’Oreal Infallible Mega Gloss

A 3rd of the way through now, day 10 and still going strong. Today we have the L'Oreal Infallible Mega Gloss. The packaging for this is simple but sleek and for £6.99 they won't break the bank, this product also comes in other formulas but the shade we're looking at today is one of the matte finish glosses.

The name here needs to be taken with a pinch of salt, I would simply call this a liquid lipstick, but it is a little different in the way that it doesn't 100% dry down. It applies to the lips nice and creamy and doesn't settle into any dryness you might have going on and has a nice sweet scent which I think is pleasant but not over-whelming. I also love the shade on this one "The Bigger The Better" is a lovely, bright mid-tone pink.

Monday 9 November 2015

30 Lips in 30 Days - Rimmel The Only One Lipstick

Day 9 of the 30 lips challenge and I'm super excited about this one. I'd heard a lot about the Rimmel The Only One Lipsticks and they intrigued me and I had to pick one up. The packaging is a nice thick black plastic that's sturdy and interesting and I love the fact that they have a band round the bottom that reflects the shade inside so if you have multiple shades it's easy to find the one you want. The lid on these is quite long and the base is quite short which can make the lipstick a tiny bit difficult to open but that's my only issue with it so far. For £6.99 they're not bad.

It applies nice and creamy and has a good amount of moisture to it so when you first apply it, it does have a good have a bit of sheen to it on the lips. As you wear it, it does start to dry down and the sheen wears off and it does become less comfortable and I would just top it up as it becomes more uncomfortable. The scent isn't my favourite - I find that Rimmel lipsticks are very hit and miss with the scents, this one is very sweet but almost perfume-y but it doesn't linger too long. I also really love this particular shade "700 Naughty Nude", it's a slightly deeper nude and it really seems to just lift the face.

Sunday 8 November 2015

30 Lips in 30 Days - MUA Luxe Lip Stain

Day 8 of the 30 Lips challenge brings us my least favourite lip product so far: the MUA Luxe Lip Stain. For an affordable lip product, the packaging is lovely, a nice frosted-glass effect casing with nice gold writing to tell you what the product is. It's the formula that lets this one down massively.

When applied it goes on with a creamy, almost whipped texture similar to their Whipped Velvet Lips that I mentioned earlier on in the 30 lips challenge (clicky link here) but when it dries down, it creates almost a film over the lips that is unbearably drying. Now I did think with it being so drying that this might at least make it a super long-wearing lip product, but it crumbles and flakes off as soon as it comes into contact with moisture, so if your eating or drinking or even just talking this isn't great. The shade I picked up "Atomic" was really off for me too, I love a bold lip but this went on like a radioactive orange shade that I didn't think suited me all that well.

Saturday 7 November 2015

30 Lips in 30 Days - Too Faced Créme Lipstick

Day 7 of the 30 lips challenge and today we have something from Too Faced. Their La Créme Colour Drenched Lipsticks are £18 a piece for the full size although I just have a mini here and the packaging is a perfect replica of the full size, a luxurious gold metallic tube that still feels weighty despite it's miniature size.

I wasn't sure I'd get on with the shade "Naked Dolly" as it looked like one of those "barely there" concealer-lips type shades but I was pleasantly surprised, the moisture content in the formula sheers out the shade just enough for it to be a super wearable nude without making the colour pay off disappointing, I'd love to see how the deeper shades come out. The formula is comfortable on the lips but will require maintenance and I love the shade with both neutral looks and paired with a more dramatic eye look.

Friday 6 November 2015

30 Lips in 30 Days - No7 Moisture Drench

Day 6 and we have a No7 Moisture Drench Lipstick on the cards today. These are £9.95 so quite pricey for a high-street lip product but Boots often give out vouchers to get £3 off No7 makeup so I'd wait it out and pick one up for £6.95 instead. That being said the packaging does reflect the price, it's a nicely weighted, dark metallic lipstick tube.

I'm wearing the shade "840 - Autumn Truffle" and it's a nice slightly darker orangey shade. Despite being an orange it does actually look quite neutral on the skin because it's a bit darker than a typical orange shade and it's very wearable. As the name would suggest, the moisture content in this lipstick is high so it's a nice comfortable satin finish on the lips.

Thursday 5 November 2015

30 Lips in 30 Days - Revlon Colourstay Moisture Stain

Day 5 and today we have the Revlon Colour Moisture Stain and this is one of the most unusual lip product formulas I've ever tried. It comes in a square tube with a black plastic top and the colour-co-ordinated tube which I like. You can pick these up from Boots and Superdrug for around £7 each and they do some really nice shades in the range.

The shade I picked up is "Barcelona Nights" which is a bright fuchsia pink. This goes on like an opaque lipgloss with a bit of a thickness on the lips and a high-shine finish but it isn't sticky or tacky at all and is comfortable to wear. However on application, it feels like it should dry down to a liquid lipstick type product but it stays wet and gloss-like. Again, because it's comfortable and glossy the wear-time really isn't there and this s definitely something you'll need to top up as it starts to go a bit patchy after a few hours but for the comfort and the look I don't mind having to touch up occasionally.

Wednesday 4 November 2015

30 Lips in 30 Days - NYC Liquid Lipstain

Day 4 and back to budget with the NYC Smooch Proof Liquid Lip Stain. The packaging on this is nice for a budget product, a classic black lid doe-foot applicator with a colour-co-ordinated lipgloss tube type of set up. The one bug bare I have with it is that the writing smudges off on your hand as you hold the product and leaves you with black ink-y hands which isn't great.

I'm pretty sure the shade I have is "100 - Faithful Coral" but the shade names don't seem to be on the packaging which can be annoying if you need to repurchase. It's a soft orangey neutral shade that shows up quite sheer on the lips but can be built up to a decent colour pay off and the lasting power is decent. It's very water-y upon application but does dry down to a matte finish which becomes more drying the longer you wear it so not a good option for those with dry lips.

Tuesday 3 November 2015

30 Lips in 30 Days - Chanel Rouge Allure

Day 3 and it's time to bring in something a little more luxury to this 30 lips challenge. Today we're going to be talking about one of the Chanel Rouge Allure Lipsticks, and I've been itching to get my hands on one of these for ages. The packaging is lovely and weighty and feels expensive (lets face it, it kind of needs to feel like a treat for £26 a piece). You press the gold top into the casing and it pops up, you can then pull the lipstick out of the lid.

The shade I picked up was "97 Incandescente" which is a bright, orange-y red with a slightly cream-y finish (think MAC Amplified formula) and it's very comfortable on the lips without being too shiny. Because the moisture content in the product is pretty heavy this isn't going to last all day and will need to be touched up occasionally. You can definitely get a similar formula for less and some other brands have colours comparable to this but it's a nice treat of a product. Possibly a good pick if you're looking to get something small but special for the beauty lover in your life this Christmas.

Monday 2 November 2015

30 Lips in 30 Days - Revolution I Heart My Lips

Day 2 of the 30 Lips in 20 Days challenge and today I have a Revolution I Heart My Lips Lipstick for you. On first impressions, the packaging is very cheap looking, and the layout of the product is a bit tacky. The bullet is heart-shaped all the way down which, although quite cute, makes application a little more difficult.

The shade I picked up was "Heart is Pumping" which is a light, cool toned pink. The formula is one of those with the lipstick shade on the outside with a balm-like texture running through the middle which does make the product quite sheer and sheeny upon application. It does feel quite thick on the lips but isn't at all sticky or gloss-like in texture. The scent of the product is actually quite nice, a subtle sweet scent that you will be able to taste slightly when you first apply the product but this will fade with wear.

All in all, for £1.49 it's not bad. I would definitely say that this was aimed towards a younger market (early to mid teenage years) with the pricing and the cutesy-ness of the packaging. The sheerness is also probably nice for the younger wearers. However I can't be it something I'll be reaching for very often.

Sunday 1 November 2015

30 Lips in 30 Days - MUA Whipped Velvet Lips

So I'd seen the "30 Lips in 30 Days Challenge" on Miss Budget Beauty's Channel (clicky link here) and being the lip-product junkie that I am, I figured that this would be a great opportunity to justify buying lots of new lipsticks share my thoughts on some lip products I've picked up recently. So lets get started.

When MUA first launched in Superdrug, I was all over trying the range but they had since fallen off my radar a little. So I figured I'd try out some of the things they had to offer and I really liked this one. Annoyingly, the shade names aren't on the packaging but I'm fairly certain that this is the shade "301 Ritzy".

The texture on this is lovely, it;s a nice light "whipped" texture. They are quite liquid in texture and feel really balmy and comfortable on the lips. the moisture content does come through in the finish of these and they have a pretty muted gloss type of look on the lips. At £3 a piece these are definitely a good affordable option but the packaging doesn't look particularly cheap and the applicator is nice.

Because the formula is so creamy and moisturising, they don't last particularly well on the lips so you'll need to keep it with you to touch up throughout the day if you plan to be wearing this for any length of time. I will note though that the range doesn't seem to contain any out-there bold shades, it does seem to be very neutral and light and so I find that it fades nicely on the lips and doesn't leave you with any crazy lip-line effect as it fades.
